Diego Abal
Diego Abal (born December 28, 1971 ) is a football referee from Argentina and since 2008 international referee of FIFA . He lives in San Salvador .
In 2005 he made his debut in the Argentine first division, in February 2010 he directed his first game in the Copa Libertadores . After participating in the South American U17 Championship in 2009, he was selected by FIFA as referee for the 2011 U17 World Cup in Mexico, where he chaired two preliminary round matches.
He is on the shortlist for the 2014 World Cup and will take part in the 2013 Confederations Cup in Brazil.
