Diego Caccia
Diego Caccia (born July 31, 1981 ) is a former Italian cyclist .
Diego Caccia drove in 2003 for the Italian cycling team Saeco as a stagiaire , but did not get a professional contract for the following season. In 2004 he won the one-day race Giro della Valli Aretine and came second in the Trofeo Pina e Mario Bazzigallupi. In 2006 Caccia moved to the British Professional Continental Team Barloworld . In his second season there, he finished sixth in the Ronde van Drenthe . In 2009 he took part in the Giro d'Italia and finished 122nd.
In the course of the doping investigation by the Public Prosecutor of Padua , he was suspected of having been a customer of the controversial sports medicine specialist Michele Ferrari .
