Diego Cháves , full name Diego Gonzalo Cháves de Miquelerena , (born February 14, 1986 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The offensive player Cháves, who are 1.78 meters or 1.80 meters tall, depending on the sources, was a member of the professional squad of the Montevideo Wanderers at the beginning of his career from the mid-season 2005 to the Clausura 2009 . In the Apertura 2006 there will be eleven first division games (two goals) for him, in the Clausura 2009 twelve completed games (seven goals) in the Primera División . In July 2009 he left the Wanderers and joined the Querétaro FC . With the Mexicans he played 15 Primera División games in 2009 and scored four goals. Since the beginning of 2014 he has played on loan for Palestino's league rivals CD O'Higgins . In the 2013/14 season he played in 13 first division games (three goals) and four matches (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores . In the 2014/15 season he was used 14 times (three goals) in the top Chilean league. At the beginning of 2015, he returned to Palestino and completed ten top division games in which he scored five goals. He also played six times (two goals) in the Copa Libertadores 2015 and three times (one goal) in the Copa Chile. At the beginning of July 2015 he moved to the Argentine club CA Sarmiento . There he played 25 first division games and scored four times in the opposing goal. At the end of August 2016, he joined San Martín de San Juan . With the Argentines he was 15 times (two goals) in the league and once (no goal) in the cup. At the beginning of July 2017, he was signed by the Chilean club San Luis de Quillota , where he has so far (as of July 16, 2017) played once (no goal) in the Copa Chile.

National team

At least in June 2007, Cháves was a member of Uruguay 's U-23 team, which was supervised by Roland Marcenaro .
