Diego Melián , full name Diego Melián de León , (born November 4, 1991 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.86-meter-tall goalkeeper Melián started his career in the ranks of the Montevideo club Danubio FC . In August 2013 he moved within the city on loan to the second division club Huracán FC . There he made his debut and only game in the Segunda División on December 21, 2013 under coach Miguel Puppo in the 3-2 home defeat against Boston River as a member of the starting XI . In mid-January 2014, Danubio loaned him to the first division team Racing , but remained without a role in the Primera División until the end of the 2014/15 season and also in the 2015/16 season . During the 2016 season, he then played all of his club's 15 league games.
