Diego de Estella
Diego de Estella (also: Didacus Estella , Diego Estella , Diego de Ballesteros y Cruzat ; * 1524 in Estella ( Navarra ), † 1578 in Salamanca ) was a Spanish theologian and mystic .
Life
De Estella wrote a book on Saint Luke that was persecuted by the Spanish Inquisition ; under the pseudonym Didacus Stella he was a narrator of the parable On the shoulders of giants .
