Dierk Herzer

Dierk Herzer (* 1972 or 1973 ) is a German economist .

Life

From September 1997 to May 2000 he was research assistant ( student assistant ) at the Ibero-American Institute for Economic Research at the University of Göttingen . From September 2004 to November 2004 he was a visiting fellow at the German Institute for Economic Research . From October 2005 to December 2005 he was research assistant at the Chair for Economic Development and Integration at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. From January 2006 to August 2010 he taught as an assistant professor at the Chair for Economic Development and Integration in Frankfurt am Main , on leave from August 2008 to February 2009 and from April 2009 to August 2010. From August 2008 to February 2009 he represented the Chair for Macroeconomics and Development at the Goethe University, and from April 2009 to August 2010 he represented the professorship for Economics, in particular Economic Development and Integration, at the Goethe University. From September 2010 to July 2011 he taught as a professor for economics, especially international and regional economics, at the University of Wuppertal . Since August 2011 he has been Professor of Economics, in particular Economic Growth and Business Cycle, at the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg .
