Dieter Becken
Dieter Becken (* 1951 ) is a German business manager and former member of the supervisory board of HSV Fußball AG .
Training and professional positions
In 1960 Dieter Friedrich Wilhelm Becken fled the GDR with his parents. He began an apprenticeship as a bricklayer and then studied architecture and engineering. He completed both studies with a diploma. In 1981, Becken founded his first real estate company in Hanover .
Dieter Becken is the chairman of the Becken Group, which, with a capital of 900 million euros, is one of the financially strongest companies in the Hanseatic City of Hamburg and one of the largest project developers in the construction sector. The completed projects include the Berliner Bogen on Anckelmannsplatz .

Becken was a member of the Supervisory Board of HSV Fußball AG from July 2014 to February 2018 .
