Dieter Becker (born January 2, 1940 in Kelsterbach ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Dieter Becker passed the secondary school leaving certificate in 1957 and became a civil servant candidate for the intermediate service at the Deutsche Bundesbahn. In 1959 he passed the administrative examination and in 1969 moved to the city administration of Kirn . In 1972 he passed the second administrative examination and became department head in the regulatory administration at the city administration of Kirn, councilor and graduate in administrative management (FH).

politics

In 1963 he became a member of the SPD, where he became a board member, later deputy chairman of the SPD city association Kirn. Since 1969 he was a member of the Bad Kreuznach district council and since 1981 chairman of the SPD city association in Kirn. In 1957 he joined the ÖTV .

He was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament from 1991 to 1996 as the successor to the resigned MP Udo Reichenbecher . In the state parliament he was a member of the petitions committee.
