Dieter Behrenbeck

Dieter Wilhelm Behrenbeck (born August 8, 1936 in Schwerte ) is a German internist .

Life

Behrenbeck studied medicine at the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen and was active in the Corps Rhenania Tübingen in 1956 . He became a specialist in internal medicine and completed his habilitation in cardiology . After his appointment as associate professor , he became chief physician of the Clinic for Cardiology and General Internal Medicine at the City Hospital in Solingen .

In 1996 he was elected to the board of the professional association of German internists ; from 2000 he was 2nd Vice President and Treasurer. Since its retirement he works in a Cologne group practice .

As chairman of the BDI internists in hospital working group , he led a professional policy symposium in the Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus in 2010 . Since 2011 he has moderated the Österberg medical seminars in Tübingen.
