Dieter Bromund

Dieter Bromund (* 1938 in Bromberg ) is a German author and translator.

Life

Dieter Bromund started working as a journalist when he was still a schoolboy. He studied English and German at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster in Westphalia and in Newcastle in England. Then Bromund worked in PR , advertising and marketing, later as an author of his own books, translator of historical naval war novels, feature and radio play author. His detective novels have been nominated for awards. He is also an author for magazines with his own department, has been writing short stories since 1960, features and radio plays for Radio Bremen and Hessischer Rundfunk since 1986 and novels for children since 1988. He has been a translator from English since 1989 and writes specialist books on marketing and PR and sales since 1991.

To date, Dieter Bromund has published more than 20 books; some of his novels have also been published on record. Today he lives in Bremen .
