Dieter Dieckhoff

Dieter Dieckhoff (born April 30, 1929 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Dieckhoff first attended elementary school in Dörverden and later the Domgymnasium in Verden and the Albrecht-Thaer seminar in Celle . After graduating from school, he started an apprenticeship in agriculture in the Uelzen district. He passed the examination to become an agricultural master (Dipl.-Ing.agr.) And has been working as an independent farmer since 1950. Since 1968 he has also been an independent businessman in the fuel trade.

Dieckhoff became a board member of the CDU district association in Stade . He also became chairman of the administrative board of Kreissparkasse Verden and a member of the board of trustees of the Niedersächsische Sparkassenstiftung . He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Bremer Landesbank-Kreditanstalt Oldenburg .

Since 1961 he has been a councilor and parliamentary group leader in Dörverdern. Between 1981 and 1986 he was mayor of this municipality. Between 1964 and 1968 and from 1972 he was a member of the district council. Here he was elected chairman of the CDU district parliamentary group between 1975 and 1981. From 1981 to 1986 he was district administrator for the district of Verden .

In the 8th to 11th electoral term, Dieckhoff was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament between June 21, 1974 and June 20, 1990. He was chairman of the committee for internal administration from June 23, 1982 to June 20, 1990.
