Dieter Franz
Dieter Franz (born January 13, 1952 in Eschwege ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and member of the Hessian state parliament .
education and profession
Dieter Franz attended secondary school and then worked as a draftsman until 1985. From 1985 to 1990 he was a machine operator at the VW Baunatal plant.
Dieter Franz is Protestant, married and has three grown children.
politics
Dieter Franz has been a member of the SPD since 1970. From 1990 to 1999 and 2003 to 2008 he was full-time managing director of the SPD in the Werra-Meißner district .
From 1999 to 2003 he was an elected member of the Hessian state parliament in the Rotenburg constituency . In 2003 he lost his constituency, but was able to win it back in the state elections in Hesse in 2008 as well as in 2009 and has been a member again since then.
