Dieter Happ

Dieter Happ (born May 11, 1970 in Innsbruck ) is a former Austrian professional snowboarder .

biography

In 1984, at the age of 14, Happ made his first attempts to walk on a snowboard in the Axamer Lizum in Tyrol . In the following years he teamed up with Martin Freinademetz and Andrew Hourmont and organized the first races with them, in which he usually took part himself and which he usually also won.

In 1990, Jake Burton Carpenter gave Happ the chance to take part in the ISF World Pro Tour and took it. In the Super-G , he already finished this season as overall World Cup winner or with the European championship title. From now on, Dieter Happ competed in the professional league, won countless races and took part in the 1998 Olympic Games .

Today he devotes himself more to the enduro - motocross sport together with Martin Freinademetz .
