Dieter Hennig (born May 11, 1943 in Erfurt ) is a German painter , graphic artist and object artist .

Dieter Hennig studied geodesy in Dresden . His artistic foster father was the north German painter Otto Niemeyer-Holstein . He lives and works as a freelance artist in Erfurt.
