Dieter Chancellor

Dieter Kanzleiter (* 1960 in Stuttgart ) is a German trumpeter , arranger , ensemble leader and composer .

Career

The first professional trumpet lessons were given by Heinz Burum . This was followed by studying trumpet at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim . Composition studies followed at the Heidelberg University of Music. The Chancellor completed a postgraduate course in composition and conducting in Munich.

In 1987 Dieter Kanzleiter got a job at the district music school in Fürstenfeldbruck as a music teacher for trumpet, piano and keyboard.

activity

The chancellor works as a part-time lecturer at brass seminars. He leads various wind orchestras and bands in the Munich area. He receives commissioned work as a composer and arranger for professional ensembles, but also for amateur music groups. In recent years, the chancellor has been increasingly active in the field of Protestant church music (training courses, CD productions). As the editor of trombone choir literature , he has now published numerous editions in various music publishers.

Dieter Kanzleiter lives with his wife and three children in the Munich district.
