Dieter Sauer

Dieter Sauer (* 1944 in Karlsbad , then Reichsgau Sudetenland ) is a German social scientist.

Life

Dieter Sauer studied economics and sociology in Munich. A degree in economics, he was at the University of Bremen Dr. rer. pole. PhD. Since 1969 he has been working as a social researcher at the Institute for Social Science Research (ISF) in Munich and has been a member of the board there since 1989. As part of his work at the ISF, he has participated in a large number of theoretical and empirical contract research, the results of which have been presented and published. He was appointed to numerous scientific and research policy committees.

Sauer has been honorary professor of sociology at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena since 2002 .
