Dieter Scheiff

Dieter Christian Scheiff (* 8. June 1952 in Koblenz ) was Chairman of the Board ( CEO ) of the company Adecco .

Life

The son of a photo salesman and a primary school teacher did his A-levels at an evening school during his apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in Aachen . He then studied business administration at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences and graduated as a business economist.

He stayed with his first employer, the US company 3M , from 1979 to 1998 and took on various functions from marketing to sales to managing director. After a three-year stint for Pharma - company Johnson & Johnson (1998-2001) from 1998 to 2000 as Managing Director of "Johnson & Johnson Cordi" in the third year as Vice President Europe, he went to the temporary employment industry .

He started at the German DIS AG in May 2001 as Director of Sales / Marketing and has been Chairman of the Management Board since May 2002. When DIS AG was taken over by Adecco in 2006, the world's largest temporary employment agency with a worldwide turnover of more than 20 billion euros (2006), Scheiff was also appointed CEO there.

On April 2, 2009, he left Adecco.

In 2010 he strengthened the Swiss investor group Ufenau Capital Partners (formerly Constellation) as an industry partner and from 2012 as a member of the board of directors and managing partner.

Scheiff is married and has three children.
