Dieter Strauch (legal historian)

Dieter Strauch (born October 29, 1933 in Brandenburg an der Havel ) is a German legal historian . He is a professor emeritus for civil law, German and Nordic legal history at the University of Cologne .

Strauch received his doctorate in 1959 in Cologne. jur., the habilitation took place in 1970. In 1974 he received an extraordinary professorship in Cologne and was appointed full professor there in 1980.
