Heinz-Dieter Tempel (born November 15, 1938 in Klein-Biesnitz ) is a German doctor and politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Saxon state parliament between 1990 and 1994 .

Life

Dieter Tempel attended secondary school in Niesky OL and passed his Abitur there. After he was turned down to study medicine for political reasons (1953 young community, 1954 visit to the east office of the SPD in West Berlin), he worked from 1956 as a station worker and shunter at the station in Hoyerswerda and was delegated to the Dresden Transport University to study operations and traffic . After a serious accident at work through no fault of his own (amputation of the right thigh), Tempel was finally delegated by the Deutsche Reichsbahn to study medicine at the Friedrich Schiller University on April 4, 1957. Tempel is Protestant, married and has two children.
