Diethelm Hoffmann (soccer player)

Diethelm Hoffmann (born September 13, 1953 ) is a former German soccer player .

The midfielder moved in 1972 within the second-rate Regionalliga West from Preußen Münster to Arminia Bielefeld , who had just been relegated from the Bundesliga . In the summer break before the 1972/73 regional league season, a DFB league cup was held once , in which Hoffmann was used twice in the preliminary round against Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen . In the Regionalliga season 1972/73 Hoffmann came on five games in which he was substituted on and remained without scoring. Arminia finished eleventh in the Regionalliga at the end of the season and Hoffmann left the club with an unknown goal.
