Diethelm Straube

Diethelm Straube (born October 24, 1957 in Darmstadt ) is a German journalist and moderator.

After completing his internship at the Hessisch / Niedersächsische Allgemeine (HNA) in Kassel, Straube worked in 1986 as an editor in Namibia for the German-language weekly newspaper "Namibia Nachrichten". Then at WDR, local radio Dortmund.

From 1990 to 1992 he worked for the production company teutotele as a reporter for RTL aktuell and RTL breakfast television .

In 1992, Straube began as a presenter for RTL breakfast television in Berlin. At the end of 1994 he moved to Munich to join German sports television , today Sport1 , as head of news and talk as well as moderator. He also moderated boxing shows for Premiere .

At the beginning of 2006, Straube moved to Bad Homburg for the regional broadcaster rheinmaintv , where he worked as editor-in-chief until 2007.

Since January 1, 2008, Straube has been the owner of StraubeMedienService SMS with a focus on consulting, implementation and coaching.
