Diethelm Triemer

Diethelm Triemer (born July 23, 1954 in Woltersdorf ) is a former German motorcyclist who worked in the GDR .

Career

Diethelm Triemer's sporting career began with a motorcycle trial at MC Woltersdorf. At the age of 20 he said goodbye to trials and switched to rail sports. In Lübbenau he trained with Dietmar Lieschke for a long time; Lübbenau made it into the first division.

Diethelm Triemer later moved to Güstrow. Under coach Fritz Suhrbier he drove for the MC Güstrow and won titles on the speedway track.

After he had finished his sporting career, he founded a biker shop with a workshop in 1991. Until 1992 he was still active as a youth coach.

Sporting successes

46 GDR championships, including one trial (1973), seven individual speedway titles, three individual dirt track titles, two gold helmet winners in Teterow (1978/1980), winner of the Bergring Cup (1979) on the Teterower Bergring , three times winner of the "Golden Steel Shoe" (1979 to 1981), Baltic Sea Cup winner 1982, trade fair cup winner. Award: "Honored Master of Sports".
