Dietmar Franzke

Dietmar Franzke (born December 27, 1941 in Breslau ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Franzke grew up in Lower Bavaria . He attended elementary school in Arnstorf and obtained secondary school leaving certificate at the Eggenfelden State Realschule . He then studied at the Social Academy in Dortmund . He worked as a social security specialist at the Lower Bavaria-Upper Palatinate State Insurance Institute in Landshut, where he was approved as a pension advisor for teachers at vocational schools and universities of applied sciences. He is chairman of the Landshut district association of workers' welfare and president of the Lower Bavaria fishing association. He also carries the Bavarian Order of Merit .

In 1960 Franzke became a member of the SPD. He was a city councilor in Landshut . From 1978 to 2003 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
