Dietrich Wilhelm von Krevet (* unknown; † 1638 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Dietrich Wilhelm von Krevet came from the Paderborn ministerial family Krevet and was the son of Wilhelm von Krevet zu Venne and Salzkotten and his wife Anna Maria von Westphalen zu Fürstenberg. He founded the Krewetburg near the city of Salzkotten in 1607 . On June 9, 1610, Dietrich Wilhelm took possession of a cathedral priest from Münster and was sworn to the families of Westphalen, Morrien, Krevet and Hanxleden . He completed his studies at the University of Padua and presented his diploma on July 27, 1618. On February 11, 1626 he renounced the turnar Arnold von Vittinghoff called Schell. This nominated Ludolf Jobst von Schorlemer as his successor. Dietrich Wilhelm later married Anna Maria von Eppe. In 1638 he died as the last of his line.
