Saarland Children's and Young People's Book Prize
The Saarland Children's and Young People's Book Prize (originally Lesedino ) is a literary prize that has been awarded since 2010 for works in the field of children's and young people's literature . The jury is made up of secondary school students from five schools drawn beforehand, who select the winner from a list of suggestions compiled by experts from various literary institutions. The prize is to be awarded every two years. It is part of the reading promotion of the Saarland and should help to strengthen the enthusiasm for reading through "participation and the assumption of responsibility".

- 2011 Erhard Dietl for The Olchis and the Green Mummy
- 2013 Michael Kleeberg for Luca Puck and the Lord of the Rats
- 2015 Manfred Theisen for Nerd Forever - I think the ball will hit me
- 2017 Jens Schumacher for Morlo - full of stone age!
- 2019 Anca Sturm for Der Welten-Express
