Dietrich II of Itter

Dietrich II von Itter (* around 1260; † September 20, 1321 ) was Bishop of Paderborn from 1310 to 1321 .

He came from the house of the noblemen in Itter . His father, Reinhard zu Itter, was the judge at Ossenbühl and Vogt von Lotheim, his mother was Adelheidis von Waldeck .

Dietrich attended the Paderborn cathedral school and became canon there in 1279. In October 1310 he was elected Bishop of Paderborn as the successor to his resigned cousin Günther I von Schwalenberg .

He died in 1321.
