Dietrich von der Schulenburg (Provost)
Dietrich (VII.) Von der Schulenburg († after 1525) was provost of Cölln and Berlin from 1512 to 1525 and electoral councilor in Brandenburg.
Life
Dietrich was the son of Bernhard (VII.) From the von der Schulenburg family . In 1488 he was named as the owner of the Vicarie St. Erasmi in Berlin. Then he was canon in Magdeburg . In 1507 he was called a doctor of law .
In 1512 he was mentioned for the first time as provost of the Collegiate Monastery of Cölln and of Berlin at a synod in Ziesar . He then appeared as such in several documents. In 1523 Dietrich took over part of the Beetzendorf family seat as guardian of his nephews. He was mentioned for the last time in 1525.
