Dieversity is a German melodic death metal / modern metal band from Würzburg . Bands like Soilwork , Killswitch Engage or In Flames are among the biggest influences .

history

Dieversity was founded in 2010 in Würzburg. With the first demo recordings , Dieversity won a record deal with the 7hard - 7us media group. At the end of 2012 the debut album Last Day: Tomorrow was released . The album was largely positively received in reviews. The Rock Hard awarded 7.5 out of 10, Powermetal.de 8.5 out of 10, Metalunderground.at 5 of 5 metal.de and 7 out of 10 rating points. Shortly after the release, Dieversity split from singer Thomas Garos. In order to be able to present the album live in 2013, Martin Herrnleben was included as the new singer. After a few festivals, club gigs and a small tour (with bands such as Hypocrisy , Sodom , Dew-Scented , Die Apokalyptischen Reiter ), Dieversity announced the separation from their second singer Bastian Gehrfelder on June 6, 2014. The band then decided to continue with only one singer in the future.

On September 11th, 2015 Dieversity released their second album Re / Awakening with the Bob Media Agency and Sonic Revolution via Soulfood . For this album, two videos were released together with Playville Studios.

In June 2016, Martin Herrnleben decided to leave the band due to lack of time. In January 2017 the band found a temporary replacement in Samir Laarej, who left the band in early 2018. At the end of 2019, Martin Herrnleben joined the band again. Together they are working on the successor to Re / Awakening .
