Digital mechanism and gear library
The Digital Mechanisms and Gear Library ( DMG-Lib ), based in Ilmenau, is a high performance center for research information with the aim of collecting, preserving, networking and multimedia presentation of the extensive knowledge about mechanisms and gears for a broad public.
The holdings of this digital library include books, magazine articles and scientific publications as well as functional models that are presented in the form of videos and interactive animations . The DMG-Lib is supported by the German Research Foundation .
