Wilhelm Wisch

Wilhelm Wisch (born October 12, 1889 in Röhrenfurth , † December 17, 1951 in Ziegenhain ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Life

Wisch attended elementary school . He was then trained at the Vilmarschen School, a higher education institution in Melsungen, where he obtained the upper secondary qualification. After that he belonged to the XI for a year. Artillery regiment. In June 1908, Wisch began his middle post career. From 1917 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a private with the Divisionsfunkerabteilung 35, in which he was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd class. After working in various districts in the rail mail service, Wisch was employed by the Melsungen post office from January 1920.

In 1921, Wisch joined the German National Guard and Defense Association . In August 1923 he switched to the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP), which he rejoined in August 1925 after the party was temporarily banned. In January 1929 Wisch became district leader and on October 1, 1932 district leader of the NSDAP district Melsungen. On November 17, 1929, Wisch became a city councilor in Melsungen. In the Reichstag election in March 1933 , he was elected as a candidate for the NSDAP for constituency 19 (Hessen-Nassau), to which he belonged until November of the same year. The most important parliamentary event in which Wisch was involved during his time as a member of parliament was the passing of the Enabling Act in March 1933, which was passed, among other things, with his vote.

In 1934, Wisch was promoted to senior postal inspector. From 1934 to 1945 he was the district administrator for the district of Ziegenhain . Wisch was also a member of the Sturmabteilung (SA), in which he was promoted to Sturmbannführer in April 1943 .
