Dimitar Pavlov

Dimitar Pavlov ( Bulgar. Димитър Павлов ) (born September 7, 1937 in Kichevo ) is a Bulgarian politician of the Bulgarian Socialist Party .

Life

In 1959 he graduated from the Naval Academy in Varna and became a member of the Bulgarian Communist Party (BKP), of which he is still a member of the successor party BSP (Bulgarian Socialist Party). In 1974 he attended the Naval Academy in Leningrad . From 1988 to 1990 Pavlov was deputy commander of the Bulgarian Navy , from 1990 to 1992 the official commander. From 1995 to 1997 he was Boyko Noev's successor as Defense Minister of Bulgaria under Prime Minister Shan Widenow . His successor in office was Georgi Ananiev .
