The Dimitor (serbokroat. For "Smoke Mountains") is a forested mountain range in the west of Bosnia and Herzegovina . It is located in the catchment area of ​​the Upper Sana ( Gornja Sana ) between the towns of Mrkonjić Grad and Ključ in the Banja Luka region .

The highest peaks of the mountain range are the Dimitor itself (1483 m), the Javorac (1332 m) and the Kozija strana (1311 m). At the 935 m high Štrbina pass , the Dimitor passes into the Líšina .

The mountains are not crossed by roads; the main roads M5 ( Bihać - Sarajevo ) and M15 ( Livno - Prijedor ) bypass it in the north and east.
