Dimitri Logothetis is an American actor , director and film producer .

Life

After high school, Logothetis began his career as a stage and film actor. In the film New York, New York (1977) he met Martin Scorsese , who was enthusiastic about directing. After completing his master's degree at the film school in 1979, he directed the short film Call Me Kaiser for the first time . This was followed by a documentary about the rock band The Knack , The Knack at Carnegie Hall (1979). Logothetis was then accepted into the graduate program at Loyola Marymount University . 1986 made his film directorial debut with Pretty Smart ( Die Bikinifalle ). Logothetis has been running his own production company since 1989. In the same year his documentary Champions forever - Muhammad Ali: Athlete of the Century was published . Since then he has been active as a screenwriter, director and producer for film and television.
