Dimitri from Paris
Dimitri from Paris (* in October 1963 in Istanbul ; actually Dimitris Yerasimos ) is a French house DJ of Greek descent.
He is a presenter at the Parisian broadcaster NRJ .
Dimitri from Paris has already made remixes for artists such as Björk, New Order and Quincy Jones (well over a hundred in total). At the beginning of the 1990s, fashion designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier and Karl Lagerfeld had him put together soundtracks for their presentations on the catwalk .
In 1997 the debut album Sacrebleu appeared , which was sold over 300,000 times.
He was also known for his appearance in Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion , which was edited on CD under the title A Night at the Playboy Mansion . Two years later, the sequel, After the Playboy Mansion, appeared . Both mix albums were also sold successfully.
In 2004 the second long player Cruising Attitude was released .
