Dimitrios Daras ( Greek Δημήτριος Δάρας , born April 21, 1956 ) is a former Greek football player .

career

Daras, who came from the youth of AEK Athens , came to Germany as a student in the 1970s, where he first played for Olympiakos Bremen and later for the amateurs of Werder Bremen . Before Daras moved to SV Atlas Delmenhorst in the small town upstream of Bremen in 1979 , he had been used four times in the Bundesliga. In the following year Holstein Kiel signed him to the 2nd Bundesliga North . Although Daras received a red card only a few weeks after the transfer on September 13, 1980 in the 6-0 away defeat at Rot-Weiss Essen in the 90th minute , he experienced his most successful season in Kiel with 29 games played in which him get six goals. Nevertheless, he also left this club after only one season and then joined the league competitor Union Solingen. After a season in the Bergisches Land , Daras moved back to Greece in 1982, where he played for Apollon Athens .
