The Dingsør Dome is a small ice dome on the Lars Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises 17.5 km south of Point Williams .
Participants of the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (1929-1931) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson discovered it in February 1931. Mawson named the ice dome after Bernt Theodor Dingsør (1891 – unknown), whaling inspector for the Norwegian government, who at Had helped out with coal on board the Kosmos Mawson's expedition on December 29, 1930 .
