The Lars Christensen Coast is that part of the coast of the Antarctic continent that lies between the Murray Monolith at 66 ° 54 'East and the beginning of the Amery Ice Shelf at 71 ° 00' East. The seaward parts of the area were discovered by Norwegian sailors who were employed by Lars Christensen , after whom the coast is named. The exploration and mapping of the inner side was completed by Australian expeditions in the 1950s.
