The Murray Monolith is a 370  m (according to another source 243  m and according to Australian data 339  m ) high rock formation on the coast of the East Antarctic Mac-Robertson Land . It is upstream of Torlyn Mountain 6 km east of the Scullin Monolith .

Participants of the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (1929-1931) led by the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson sighted the formation in January 1930. Mawson named it after George John Robert Murray (1863-1942), chief judge at the Supreme Court of South Australia and sponsor of the expedition.
