Dino Armas
Dino Armas (born November 20, 1941 in Montevideo , Uruguay ) is a Uruguayan theater director and dramaturge .
Armas, who has been a teacher since 1972, has written not only numerous plays but also some for children's theater. More than 80 theater performances took place from 1966 to around 2003 based on his works. Among the directors who made use of his plays were, for example, Carlos Aguilera , Gustavo Adolfo Ruegger , Alvaro Loureiro , Elena Zuasti , Claudia Pérez and Omar Varela . Armas has received many awards for his work. In addition, his play Feliz Día, Papá was the subject of a study by Gabriela Toletti at Wiengate University in North Carolina . In 2009 he made the film El novio de la muerta based on his two works Sus ojos se cerraron and Mujeres solas .
