The Diplica is a traditional single reed instrument from Croatia . It consists of a sound tube from tube or elder with usually five elongated finger holes and a idioglotten reed . The reed can also be made from straw or quills. Most of the instruments are tuned in E, but there are also instruments with other fundamental tones.

Diplices were originally played in many parts of Croatia, but have only survived in the Baranja region .
