The Osijek-Baranja County [ ˈɔsjɛk ˈbaraɲa ] (Croatian Osječko-baranjska županija , German outdated Branau for Baranja ) is a county in eastern Croatia . It covers the north-eastern part of Slavonia around the city Osijek around and the Croatian part of the north of the Drava and peaceful landscape Baranja . It borders in the north on Hungary ( Baranya County ) and in the east on the Serbian province of Vojvodina . It has an area of 4,149 km² and a population of 305,032 (2011 census). The administrative seat and largest city is Osijek.
