Gorjani (German Görrach ) is a place in the historical region of Slavonia in Croatia and was already inhabited in prehistoric times. A Neolithic settlement and Roman coins were found on the nearby Kremenjača hill .

The place went down in history because the Croatian-Hungarian Queen Maria and her mother Elisabeth were captured here in the war between the rival nobility in 1386.

There is nothing left of the former castle and its fortifications, as the rubble was used as building material for newer structures at the beginning of the 20th century.
