Dirck Helmbreker

Dirck Helmbreker (* 1624 in Haarlem , † 1683 or 1694 in Rome ) was a Dutch painter.

Dirck Helmbreker traveled to Rome via Paris and Lyon. During his stay in France, he made friends with Frederik de Moucheron . Filippo Baldinucci reports that Helmbreker found such enthusiastic buyers for his paintings in Paris that he had to deliver them from Rome.
