Dirección Nacional de Aduanas
The Dirección Nacional de Aduanas is a building in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo .
The building, erected after a competition held in 1923, is located in the Ciudad Vieja on Rambla 25 de Agosto de 1825 between Maciel and Pérez Castellano streets at the port of Montevideo . The architect of the building was Jorge Herrán , who won first prize in the previous competition. The 18-meter-high, six-story structure houses the National Customs Directorate of the same name.
Since 1975 the building has been classified as the Monumento Histórico Nacional .
