Dirk Bellemakers (born January 19, 1984 in Bergeijk ) is a former Dutch cyclist.

Career

Bellemakers started his career in 2003 with the Dutch team Van Vliet-EBH-Gazelle . He was denied a victory for several years, only in 2006 did he win the Meeùs Race Lierop, a small criterion in the Netherlands. In August 2007, he was a stagiaire for Team Landbouwkrediet-Tönissteiner change and has been adopted as a regular driver in the following season. In 2008 he won the Geraardsbergen City Prize in Belgium. There he also drove a few smaller bike cross races , but could not achieve any success here either. For the 2013 season he moved to the Lotto-Belisol team . There, with the Giro d'Italia, he was able to take part in one of the great country tours for the first time, which he was able to complete straight away. He finished 111th overall. A victory in an international race was always denied him. At the end of the 2013 season, Bellemakers ended his career.
