Crelan-Euphony was a Belgian cycling team based in Drogenbos .
history
The team, founded as Saxon in 1992 , was renamed Saxon-Breitex in 1993 , before being named Saxon-Selle Italia a year later . From 1995 the newly organized team was called Tönnissteiner-Saxon . In 1997 the team changed its name to Tönissteiner-Colnago . In 2000 the team was renamed Landbouwkrediet-Colnago . Since 2005 the team has been participating in international bike races as a Professional Continental Team , u. a. in ProTour races. Since the 2010 season, the team started under the name Landbouwkrediet . After the banks Landbouwkrediet and Centea merged to become Crelan, the team was named after the new company name. The team was disbanded at the end of the 2013 season because the UCI registration deadline was not met to provide evidence of the financial guarantee. After a new sponsor had been found according to the team, the team requested an extension of the deadline, which the UCI refused.
