Bert De Waele

Bert De Waele (born July 21, 1975 in Deinze ) is a former Belgian cyclist .

Bert De Waele began his career in 2001 with the Belgian cycling team Landbouwkrediet-Colnago . In 2003 he won his first race, the Tour du Doubs . The next season he won the GP Cholet-Pays de la Loire and Omloop van het Houtland Lichtervelde . In 2005 he was fifth at Omloop Het Volk and second at the GP Pino Cerami . A year later he was second in Omloop Het Volk, fourth in the GP E3 Harelbeke and sixth in the overall standings of the Luxembourg and Rhineland-Palatinate tours .

At the end of the 2012 season he ended his career as a professional cyclist.
