Belgian municipality with 5689 inhabitants. (As of January 1, 2019). It is one of the seven Flemish - French facility communities in the province of Flemish Brabant .
drug is ahistory
The drug bos village was established in the 11th century. In 1798 it became an independent municipality. Due to the proximity to Brussels, the location on the Charleroi-Brussels Canal, strong industrialization and the associated population growth set in at the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century . In 1866 drug bos had 609 inhabitants. By 1920 the population rose to 2,008. On January 1, 2019, 5,689 people were living in drug abuse bosons.

- The Sint-Niklaas church, built around 1350 in Gothic style
- The town hall is located in a former castle . In the 1960s, the castle ruins with their brick and sandstone façades from the 17th and 18th centuries were restored true to the original. The building has been the seat of the municipal administration since 1969.
