Keerbergen is a municipality in the northern part of Dijleland in the province of Flemish Brabant in the Kingdom of Belgium . This municipality in Flanders has 12,850 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) and is located on the north bank of the Dijle .

Mechelen is 10 km northwest, Leuven 15 km south, Brussels 25 km southwest and Antwerp 28 km northwest.

The next motorway exits are in the west at Weerde and Mechelen on the A 1 / E 19 and in the southeast at Aarschot and Holsbeek on the A 2 .

In Haacht and Boortmeerbeek are the next regional stations on the railway line Mechelen - lion .

The Antwerp International Airport is the nearest regional airport and Brussels National close to the capital is an international airport.
