Hoeilaart is a Belgian municipality in the province of Flemish Brabant . It is identical to the place of the same name. It borders both the bilingual Brussels-Capital region in the north and the francophone Wallonia region in the south. The neighboring municipality to the west is Sint-Genesius-Rode and Overijse to the east .
